CIC donated 75 pairs of shoes (August 2024)
Mothers That Care paid a visit to Brooklyn Chest Hospital to deliver a bag of soft toys generously donated by Mary Pretorius for the children which they will receive upon their discharge. The kiddies section was additionally in need of wet wipes and nappies, which MTC purchased through donations from our dedicated supporters. In addition, Easter eggs were also provided to celebrate a belated Easter with the children. Sister Cornelius expressed deep gratitude for the contributions. 🙏Thank you to all who made this possible

We at Mothers That Care are so very proud to share with you on Mandela Day our most recent project. In collaboration with Blouberg Rotary and the Passion Grant Program we have refurbished the children’s ward of the Brooklyn Chest Hospital. Huge THANK YOU to all involved in this labour of love. Mandela Day was a high for us! We managed to collect 460 toiletry bags to be distributed among the communities we support, which is from Atlantis through to Mowbray. BIG thank you to everyone who donated for this special day! Thanks also to Emirates who provided us with toiletry bags and to Linda, Joe and the team who filled them. Lots of happy and smiling faces and some dignity restored! 18 July 2022
