Sandwiches delivered weekly

Mothers That Care volunteers come together each week on a Wednesday at the Table View Tennis Club, off Pentz Drive, to collect sandwiches and many other much-needed goods dropped off by our supporters and generous residents from nearby areas. From there they are distributed to surrounding crèches, schools, safe havens and charitable organisations and informal settlements.

Mothers That Care oversee, and are a part of various projects that support and uplift members of our local communities, including Joe Slovo, Dunoon, and more.

Every day, there are an unbelievable amount of people that are starving across our country.

For many, Mothers That Care provide the only meal they will have that day. Food insecurity is a very real reality for too many people in South Africa and indeed in our own neighbourhoods. Too many people have no idea where their next meal is coming from, or when.

Mothers that Care’s mission is a part of the solution to help alleviate this through supporting and uplifting members of our local communities

but because I know exactly how it feels to have nothing.” Anonymous
